Eurotrans shares rose by more than 20%

· Ведомости

Shares of PJSC “Eurotrans” have gained 20% in value since the market opened. The reason for the rise may be the Ministry of Energy’s proposal to apply an external management mechanism to the company’s assets.

As of 10:23 a.m. Moscow time, the shares are trading at 25.55 rubles. Their price has risen by 19.67% compared to the previous day’s close. At their peak, the shares reached 26.7 rubles apiece.

On September 26, RBC reported, citing two sources, that the “Trassa” gas station chain may be placed under external management. This initiative was put forward by the Russian Ministry of Energy. The proposal is justified by the need to ensure the security of petroleum product storage facilities. No decision has yet been made on this matter. According to the report, the possibility of one of the vertically integrated companies acquiring Trassa’s assets is also being considered.

The initiative was put forward prior to the arrest of top managers and co-owners of “Eurotrans,” which owns the gas station chain. At that time, law enforcement officials uncovered evidence of the theft of fuel belonging to the Moscow Region Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
