HBAR Price Eyes $0.12 as Hedera Adds Insurance Partner
  • RiskStream joined the Hedera Council as a strategic partner.

  • Its portal will tokenize property identities while keeping sensitive data on HashSphere.

  • HBAR could target $0.12000 after reclaiming the 200-day EMA.

The HBAR price has a fresh catalyst, but the market still has something to prove. The Institutes RiskStream Collaborative has joined the Hedera Council as a strategic partner, expanding Hedera’s role in property insurance technology.

RiskStream represents more than 30 carriers, brokers, and reinsurers. The group operates in an industry that wrote over $1.1 trillion in direct written premium in 2025. That’s a substantial market, and RiskStream’s latest move gives Hedera another real-world use case beyond the usual tokenization headlines.

RiskStream Moves Property Data Toward Hedera

The partnership builds on RiskStream’s existing work with Hashgraph to tokenize property risk data across Hedera and HashSphere. Its property risk and resilience portal will assign commercial and residential properties a persistent public token on Hedera.

The sensitive details, including construction, occupancy, protection, and exposure data, will instead move through the permissioned HashSphere ledger. That separation matters. Public asset identification and private insurance data don’t necessarily belong on the same rails.

The project is now moving from proof of concept into a pilot phase with carriers and brokers. Data providers are expected to join later.

Insurance Tokenization Could Expand Beyond Property

RiskStream’s framework isn’t limited to buildings. The same asset tokenization model could be reused for other insurable assets, including auto, aerospace, and surety bonds.

That gives the project a broader potential footprint. Still, it remains a pilot, not a finished industry-wide rollout. The difference is important, especially in crypto, where announcements often arrive long before actual adoption.

HBAR Price Needs A Clear Technical Break

The HBAR price is reacting from the $0.06850–$0.07699 demand area in early September. It’s currently trading between the 200-day and 50-day EMA bands.

A flip above the 200-day EMA could open the door toward $0.12000 or higher. But if HBAR breaks below the demand area, the next downside level is $0.04531, with further weakness possible.

For now, the insurance partnership strengthens Hedera’s use-case narrative. The HBAR price still needs to reclaim the 200-day EMA before the bullish argument gets much louder.
